Meet Zahie

I’m Zahie El Hajj, and I’m honored to work alongside and support you in your parenting journey.

Parenting is the most challenging yet important role. Unlike most other jobs, there’s no instruction manual, support or  training, leaving us to parent from a place of default and expected to work it out. Many of us parents find ourselves struggling, and seeking parenting support can sometimes carry stigma. But I’m here to tell you that I’ve been there too, and you don’t have to go through it alone.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) and certification as a conscious parenting coach trained by Dr. Shefali Tsabary and also a parent counsellor, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my work.

I am also a Tuning into Kids and Bringing Up Great Kids facilitator. With a background in child protection, worked in trauma services and experience as a former sexual assault counsellor, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my work.

As a mother of two, I’ve personally navigated and continue to navigate the challenges of parenting. Initially, I assumed that my background in social work would make parenting a breeze, however the reality was very different. I’ve gone from striving to be a perfect parent, raising the “perfect child” and constant yelling, self-doubt, and feeling lost to becoming a more regulated, confident, and conscious parent.

This led me to discover conscious parenting, a transformative approach for growth and self discovery over perfection.

I empower and work alongside parents with their parenting challenges

I focus on nurturing parents to show up for themselves and their children, leading with respect, teaching, and modelling using non punishment based parenting.

Today, I’m committed to walking alongside other parents, helping them unearth the calm and confident leader within themselves that they passionately desire.

I’m deeply committed to the belief that children deserve respect, and there are no “bad” children, but rather are misunderstood

My experience in trauma has led me to become passionate about supporting and educating through workshops parents, caregivers, and professionals on body safety and protective behaviours for children. I understand and recognise the importance of navigating those challenging conversations with kids, drawing from my own experiences in trauma, to offer valuable insights and psycho education in this crucial area.

I’m deeply committed to the belief that children deserve respect, and there are no “bad” children, only misunderstood ones I firmly believe that perfect parenting is a myth; it simply doesn’t exist. Becoming a mother made me realise that Raising kids is the hardest yet most important role. There’s no manual or training and we’re expected to rely on instinct alone. Seeking parenting support, learning or services is sometimes stigmatized, but it’s a wise choice to be better parents and give our kids the best. Instead, I’m here to help parents like you nurture and show up for both themselves and their children.. Let’s embark on this transformative journey together.
